Simon: I’m not sure whether I’m looking forward to this movie or not… It’s seems so stupid that it can’t go wrong, right?… Haven’t read the comics so I dunno what to expect at all…
Simon: Why not just flah them golden abs?
Inspiration for this comic came from the Katie Melua song “If You Were A Sailboat”. Y’know when she sings “if you were a piece of wood I’d nail you to the floor”? Beautiful song, but that line always bugs me… Still love her music though…
I might not upload next week – I’m in the process of moving into an apartment… so uhm… yeah… pretty cool…
Simon: I really experimented a lot with the colourization this time: Usually I use just a few of the tools available in Gimp (a free photoshop wannabe that actually works pretty well) in order to kinda get an overall style of the comic, but this time I used almost all of them in order to get a little more details into the shades, highlights and just the overall colouring… It really shows – especially on that rock-surface.
Simon: And there you have it: The last comic of our Between Dogs Theme Week… definately the easiest theme week for me to make so far, so we might do it agai sometime. But now all kinds of other ideas have piled up, so we shall see…
By the way: I been saving this Master Baitor-joke for a long time (in my head – I didn’t in fact draw it until today), but at first it was meant to be a “Son of a Pun”-thing… I think this is much better though…
So in conclusion; I hope you enjoyed this theme week and that you are satisfied – and I don’t mean satisfied from Master Baiting, you scoundrels!!!

“Son of a Pun” is not really a new segment – I just decided to start calling all of my worst pun-comics that… I don’t know what defines a “Son of a Pun” but it probably has to do with me not having any original ideas whatsoever… I’m gonna figure this out as I go along, I guess…
Btw. have you noticed that last week was the first time I actually did our promised two comics a week-thing, in a really long time? I’m gonna re-install the driver for my Bamboo(no, it ain’t made from bamboo, you stupid jerk!)tablet soon, so fear not: the web comic will (hopefully) soon be back on course – and when it is, I’m gonna make a Between Dogs theme-week – uploadig one Between Dog-comic a day for a whole week. It’s gonna be tail-chaisin’, scrotum-lickin’, other-dog’s-butt-sniffin’ heaps of fun… Probably…
